I’m Woody, and I’ve had a blast growing Willo.My passion for sales and recruitment started 15 years ago. I started my career at a sales recruitment and training business, placing sales people across Europe with startups like Ebury to building large scale apprenticeship programmed with enterprise businesses like HPE.Along the way, I've become a go-to advisor for founders, startups, and SMEs, helping them crack the code on sales and go-to-market strategies at an early stage. Whether it’s recruitment training or sales coaching, I’m all about fueling growth and seeing businesses take off.I also host a podcast where I dive into all things recruitment innovation. And when I’m not behind the mic, you’ll find me on stage at industry events, stirring up great conversations and sharing insights that get people thinking (and acting!).Outside of business, I’m out on the hockey field, including playing for Wales Masters at the 2023 Euros and 2024 World Cup in Cape Town.My favourite quote is from Nelson Mandela, and it embodies my attitude towards life."There is no passion to be found playing small - in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living."
